I bought mine used, without a manual. How does the loop work? I would think I could switch it in and out, but I can't. The noise reduction works fine.

you're just supposed to put all your effects in its loop and then run the signal out from the NS2 to the amp. it's not a switchable loop per se. it's just the pedal is either on (reducing) or off (complete bypass). I always wondered if it would work just inline without using the loop. Apparently it does?

Yes, it works fine without the loop, so I was just putting it at the end of the line. If it's not switchable, I don't really see the benefit of the loop. Do you think the loop is parallel? That might make it useful for tone-suckers. There's no blend control like other parallel loops. I've gotten rid of most of my hissy pedals, but the NS-2 is still useful as a power distributor.
