I used my new OC-3 last night for the first time at a gig. It went through ONE BATTERY PER SET!!! And the batteries didn't conveniently die at the end of the set, either, I gradually lost my sound in the middle of tunes. To the chagrin of the leader.

I knew the OC-3 was hard on batteries, but that was ridiculous. 90% of the time I was bypassing, too.

Beware. Or just do what I obviously need to, get a power source.

It eats a lot, like most digital pedals.
I can't see why anyone would use batteries with effects anyway. :)
