I bought a boss overdrive pedal for my birthday this year, and i seem to be getting lots of feedback with it. I realize that this is true for the boss overdrive pedals, but I was wondering if it was possible to tweak something in the pedal, that would cut out the feedback when I'm turning up the distortion. Also, if this is possible, is this an easy enough project for me to work on by myself, or should I leave this to some form of professional?
i had, the same problem, just mess with the EQ, the problem i had with mine was i had the treble on my amp all the way up and the treble all the way up on the pedal and it was feeding back like crazy, so mess with the eq on ur amp and ur pedal. hope this helps MIke
We talking about real feedback here or hum that sounds like feedback or have you ventured into the world of self occilation. After hearing a guy gig through my rig with one of these I'm inclined to believe it is hum, in which case not much you can do to stop it humming.
