    Anyone tried this for bass?

Would it track the lows very well?

Would it be a good alternative to a digitech bass whammy?

Damn bass whammys are hard to come by where I come from.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks:)

I've got the boss PS-3. I like it for both octave up and down, but it sounds a bit wonky if you don't mix in the straight tone. It's like it's not quite in tune, which gives a bit of a chorus effect when mixed but is odd when 100% wet.

I bought a DOD FX17 just to use as a CV for the Whammy function and was very disappointed. Apparently the DOD doesn't go all the way to +5v when fully depressed (w/ battery or adapter) -- whammying up to a major 7th is really not useful. Maybe a different cv pedal would give me better results, but I haven't tried one yet.
