hi! i found a boss slow gear for about $100, which is weird becausde in uruguay usually there are not those kind of things... i did a search and many people say that its good and rare and it goes very pricy, but my question is: does it sound good with bass? im doing my pedalboard for doing bass solo work, and this pedal can be a good tool. thancks for any input!
I've heard that the SG-1 Slowgear doesn't always work right, but I'd still buy it for that price, and sell it for a profit on eBay. Of course, there is also the SG-2, and that one may not have the resell value of an SG-1.
the thing is that since i live in uruguay i cant sell it via ebay. and here there are no potencial buyers.... ill check it out on of these days, and if works good maybe ill get it
It's an envelope controlled volume effect. Guyatone makes a clone of it called the Slow Volume. It might be cool for solo stuff. One way to find out............
+1 on the Guyatone. I've used it in a loop with delay and the Unibass to add a little violinishness to the upper octave. Neat little pedal.
