Boss Sounds Reggae Festival

    In just over 2 weeks, The Boss Sounds Reggae Festival, the UKs freshest reggae/ska event will be taking place at the University of Northumbria, Newcastle, on Sunday 13th November, 2005 as part of the city's 2005 Alive Festival. The festival tells the history of Reggae music from Ska to Dancehall with two Sound Stages, featuring the biggest names in reggae today. So far, artists confirmed to appear include, The Skatalites, Alton Ellis, Johnny Clarke and Eek A Mouse, as well as legendary DJs David Rodigan (Kiss 100), and Jerry Dammers (The Specials) and performances from Europe's largest classic sound system, the Trojan Sound System.
