Boss Tuner Power Supply.....

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by carlos_07, Jan 29, 2006.

  1. K I won some money a few weeks ago and I'm gonna treat myself to a few pedals....
I heard that the Boss TU-2 Tuner can act as a power supply to other pedals, with varying degrees of effectiveness.
I was wondering if anyone who had one could clear up the situation for me?
I'm not going to be using a lot with it, just a Big Muff and a compressor.
If I plug an AC adapter in the Boss will it supply the other two??

    Thanx - carlos

You are correct. Plug AC adapter into TU-2 and run jumpers to other pedals. I power 3 EBS pedals and a Sans Amp bass driver this way. Absolutely no problems for me. The TU-2 is a great pedal itself! Very accurate and dead quite on/off muting. The only drawback with this or any pedal with LED's, is using it in bright sun light.
