Anyone familiar with this bass. Got any comments to share?

I just saw the Dazz Band in concert in Honolulu, Hawaii. I was surprised to see Nathaniel Phillips playing bass with the band (from the "Let it whip" and "disco jazz" 70s-80s era, also bassplayer for funk band called Pleasure in the 70s ). He was playing a bass that looks like a Bossa. Sounded pretty funky.

  2. You live in Hawaii, I'm very jealous.

I think hexbass, a member here bought that bass. Maybe he can tell us about it a little.

Does anyone else think that bridge looks kind of chintzy for an instrument that nice?

    No;)

www.bassexchange.com has a few used Bossa basses.

I was wondering what Nathaniel was up to... one of my favorite bassists back in the day.
