In measures 45-46. I have basicaly been glissing (hiding the gliss with bow movement) from the F down to the Low D on the G string. Then switching over to the D to play the Bb and the A. I havn't been working on this movement much and I wont till after I perform the first 2 in december. But, I have looked at it several times and I'd like to know how some of you do it.

I play it all on the G string. Here's what I do:

    ( D E ) F D Bb F D Bb A G#
    + 1 2 + 2 4 1 4 2 1

(Sorry I couldn't get it lined up, but that's the order)

    That's a 2, not a thumb. Sorry it's not lined up.

Sorry about that. It all makes sense now. Great fingerings. Sorry for the trouble.

    You could try -

    F D Bb F D Bb A G#
    3 1 3 + 2 4 2 1

With the last three notes on the D string. That's what I do anyways.
