Ok, I'm excited. With all the talk about the MTD Kingstons and what a great deal they were for what you pay for them, I got a case of GAS and decided to buy one.

I just called down to Bass Central and ordered it! Yea, I'm psyched...and now kinda broke -- but hey I gotta cool fretless now. That's the other thing, I decided to go with a fretless and see how I can do with it. Yes.

By the way, I have to say that Bass Central was absolutely great to deal with. They were very helpful and courteous -- very pro. Thanks a lot guys!

  4. Did you get a 4 or 5? I called BC a couple of weeks ago and they didn't have a fretless 5 so I got mine from Bass Northwest. Also great to deal with. You will love it. Awesome "mwah" and the asymmetrical neck is a joy to play.

I got a five, and no it wasn't in stock so they were going to order it for me -- so I don't get that INSTANT gratification!:D
But it sould be to me soon enough, and I'm looking forward to it very much!

  6. Hey congrats, Comakazi. Let us know how you like it. I really want to get a MM Stingray 5, but, I am really thinking about selling my MIM fretless Jazz, and getting either a fretless Kingston, or a Dean fretless.(the hollow body one) I have this thing for basses with one pickup.

The Dean Rhapsody is pretty cool, I just wish they'd put the pickup closer to the bridge. But they didn't, so there.
