Bowing Technique!!!

    Hi, can someone please tell me what each of these bowing techniques are when to use them and how to do them ect:
    ponticello, detache, ricochet, martele

    Hi, it's simple, well nothing is simple but this is the thing:

    Ponticelli, place the bow near the bridge, the sound will be harsh, cold, ironlike.

    Detache, up and down bows, not jumping but on the string and not short notes and not legato notes but in between.

    Ricochet, letting the bow jump or ricocheting, example is the overture of William Tell (Rossini)

    martele, hammering the string, using the area close to the tip of the bow

    Hope I've done it right, My english is maybe not perfect but who is?
