    Hey,

Been a longtime friend of America. Had the opportunity to watch them perform in Singapore last year.

I've recently moved and while cleaning up, found an old Guild bass. A quick check on the Guild website determined that it is a '74 Jetstar II LS (long scale). I proceeded to plug it into my Eden rig. Aside from the usual high action of older basses, I managed to coax some nice tones from the bass, not unlike the "thump" reminiscent of Brad Palmer's bass sound on "Ventura Highway" and "Tin Man" from the early 70s. Which leads me to my next question...

Was this the model used in his recordings? A websearch on his basses yielded little info. Would appreciate some help.

    Thanks!
