    Brand New Aero Instruments Mustang 4A Bass Pickup


    Purchased new and accidentally ordered the 4A style which fits reissues and not the original.


    The Type 4A Mustang Pickup is an exact replacement designed with better frequency response than the original. This pickup is built using the re-issue bobbin size. Mustang pickups are series hum bucking (SHB), the same as a PB pickup. Pickup covers are not available from Aero, but the Mustang pickup will fit perfectly into your

    original covers.

    This pickup utilizes Alnico V 1/4" pole pieces.

    This pickup is intended for 16.00mm spacing measured over the pickup.

    Aero pickups are the best in the business, recorded with my Type 1 loaded jazz yesterday and the producer told me that is the "Clearest and fullest clean bass tone i've ever heard!"

    Great deal here, wish I had a bass to drop it in!

    I put one in my squier bullet and it’s great. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size on my first order...
