I just had some of this stuff on a sandwich, and oh boy is it tasty! I was curious as to what it was, though, so I read the list of ingredients and looked it up on the internets. I now feel like a true man for having consumed, and enjoyed, such a manly snack.

    Anyone else enjoy liverwurst/braunschweiger?

my grandparents used to feed me braunschweiger , on rye crackers ...
    never as a sandwich .

    goose liver ?
{ or something like that } is what they told me it was made of ...

then they would let me wash it all down with a bit of good German dark beer ...
    yummy ! :D

my wife thinks it's gross , and wont buy it for me ... :ninja:

Mmm, liverwurst! I haven't had any in ages. I think I need to buy some to make myself some sandwiches and use up the bread I have.

Braunschweiger is named after a city in central-northern Germany. On signs on the Autobahn, "Braunschweig" is shortened to "BS". ;)
