Gallien Krueger for the last 12 years!
Buy this CD! It is excellent! Brian Bromberg is very underrated! Also, buy Victor Bailey's CD!

That album cover would constitute an incredible act of hubris if I didn't find it so funny.

I first heard about Brian bromberg a couple years ago, Since then I got "wood" and was blown away. I think I've tried to start 3 discussions about him on talkbass, but no one ever seems interested(the best I got was 4 responses of people saying he's underrated)

as soon as I heard about this Jaco album I flipped, I am going to get it asap.

I didn't even know the man played electric bass :D I thought he was only an upright player.

Weird; I have a couple of his early albums(specific names escape me as it's been awhile)-
A whole lotta electric bass is played(multi-tracked, too).

I don't see how Bromberg is "underrated"(?).
He's played with some heavyweights; his later albums are BIG sellers as far as Contemporary Jazz goes...

    I just got the album.....oh yes.....oh...oh....oh...yes.
this album is almost better than sex(Portrait of tracy alone was) Brian Bromberg is awesome.

Portrait of Tracy almost made me cry....wow.

I'm still listening to it right now, I haven't even gotten to the end tracks

I'm only on "Three Views of a Secret"(Though I did cheat and listen to the chicken earlier :D

such a great album...I wonder if this is what people felt when they first heard "Jaco Pastorius" self titled?

    *falls over*
