I have a Ibanez SR 3000E with Bartolini soapbar pickups and I recently swapped the preamp to a Bart NTMB which made things sound so much better. However, now my bridge pickup buzzes. It might be a grounding problem, however, it doesn't go away when I touch the strings or the bridge. Yet, I did notice, while standing in front of my amp with my bass, if I move specifically in a certain position the buzzing will stop. This pickup never buzzed before with the old preamp. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

    Thanks!!!

  2. check the connections...

I checked the connections and even resoldered the wires for the bridge pickup and it still buzzes when I move. They are Bartolini soapbar pickups, not single coils.

Any other ideas what might be causing this buzz?
