I recently replaced the Noiseless Pickups in my Fender Custom Classic Jazz Bass with Nordstrand NJ4 pups, and decided I liked the Noiseless pups better (another thread on that later). I have a J-Retro pre-amp in my bass which makes pickup swapping a really solder free process. So I put the Noiseless pups back in and the Bridge pickup is not functioning correctly. It is practically dead, but, I can get a little bit of extremely low trebley output from it when i crank the gain screw (you can boost each pickups gain to taste on a J-Retro) asociated with the Bridge pup on the J-Retro a little bit. Can a pickup just go bad and lose output? The pups were out of my bass for about 4 days.
Any help trouble shooting is greatly appreciated!!

    Thank you!

I mean: I love the Noiseless pickups and never manage to swap'em, yet the Nordstrand's are even better so, if you already were unconvinced with Nordstrand's chances are it was not wired properly and so went put back the Noiseless on

    Cheers,
