Bridge replacement for 1992 Gibson LPB-3 Passive

    Hi all,

    I have this bass and was wondering if anybody knew if the Hipshot Supertone or Babicz FCH-3 would fit on it?

    I have the Babicz for my Thunderbird and love it but with the LPB-3 being a kind of carved top I wasn't sure if it would sit correctly.

    I could take my Babicz off the Thunderbird and check but that would be a bit of a pain in the butt so I thought I'd ask here first.

    You'd probably be fine with a Hipshot although it won't sit completely flush.

    You may want to email them and see what their opinion on the matter is.

    Yep emailing them was my backup plan. Reckon that will be the way to go. Cheers.

    No response from Hipshot since 30th July so that was a miss.

    May have to bite the bullet and maybe try some gasket cork to make it sit flush...?
