Worked a blues job last night. Took my TFB420, SWR Henry 8x8...a 1972 Fender Telecaster (fat city!) and a 2002 G&L 2500.

The Tele was nice and all, as it usually is.

The G&L 2500/TFB420/8x8 combo was simply devastating. One of those things where the pieces add up to a little more than their sum. Fat, punchy, fast....mmmmmm.

This is a combo I need to take back to that room next time.

Not with a double bass though, the schroeders kick butt over the 8x8 for DB;)

I gotta stop reading TF reviews.

Thankfully I've solidly made my decision on buying a Carvin HD 1800 to go with my Bmax for right now(I can't pass up the price they have on those right now).

There is a guy relatively close to me that owns a TF 550. I'll just have to go steal it from him...... :ninja:
