not too sure where the body is, but i know it ain't feeling too good.
Ouch! Fodera dead
This is a sad thread. Is there a no-kill pound for broken basses?
yeah but the clash guy has been iconised forever!!!
(Check out the camera shake)
That is sooo wrong
acctually i wish i took a shot of my wal after a zildjan ride flew off the stand and sliced the headstock nearly in two and then cut my lead ....but i was too pissed to take a photo of it.
for those unaware this is in the rock & roll hall of fame. i saw it this past summer. it is of course behind glass. i had my nose pressed up against the glass just looking at this bass for like 10 minutes. it is to me the coolest artifact in the museum. i've seen similar instruments courtesy of ups. didn't mean to hijack the thread. peace, jeff
If by #12 you mean the twelfth Alembic made, I'd be shaking too.
THis thread made me cry a little bit.
Great thread and some chilling pics...
Someone should start a thread on
the toughest or strongest basses..
My vote would be for the Gittler Bass since it is
solid stainless steel and waterproof......
Here's one to cry about: Stewmc5222's Bee basses, damaged during hurricane Katrina.
