    acctually i wish i took a shot of my wal after a zildjan ride flew off the stand and sliced the headstock nearly in two and then cut my lead ....but i was too pissed to take a photo of it.:bawl:

    for those unaware this is in the rock & roll hall of fame. i saw it this past summer. it is of course behind glass. i had my nose pressed up against the glass just looking at this bass for like 10 minutes. it is to me the coolest artifact in the museum. i've seen similar instruments courtesy of ups. didn't mean to hijack the thread. peace, jeff

    Someone should start a thread on

    the toughest or strongest basses..

    My vote would be for the Gittler Bass since it is

    solid stainless steel and waterproof......

    ahh!! the HORROR!!! MayB the next time i go to a gig, ill put up a sign that says, 'STOP!! DON'T BREAK THAT!!! GIVE IT TO ME!!!' :D
