So I had this (possibly stupid) idea today to purchase a Squier Bronco bass on the cheap and slap a full scale (probably J-Bass) neck on it.

I already know the intonation will be screwed up if that's all I change. Does anyone know if there's enough room on the body to move the bridge back and make it work?

    30'' scale bronco....jazz bass is 34'' inch scale....yeah i doubt it.

EDIT: just looked at a picture of the Squier. Hardly enough room to move the bridge at all, let alone an inch or two.
