    in the song brothers of metal, does anyone know what kind of bass pedal he would be using? and you can hear the bass really good with the effect around 1:45 into the song. all help is appreciated, thanks

    You think we all have Manowar CD's? Please post a link.

    I listened to four different versions on Youtube, and none of them had any effects on the bass at all that I could hear, except tinny distortion that could have been his amp, could have been bright strings rattling on the frets, could have been a distortion effect, or could have been just bad audio conversion on Youtube.

    FWIW the only effect DeMaio uses that I've seen any reference to on the web is tube amp distortion. But of course there may be plenty of studio production tricks aside from that.

    oh ok, thanks. i would post a video but my computer currently doesnt have sounds (damn soundcard). but if i can find a video with the right song on another computer, ill save the link and post it here

    When i saw them a few years ago, even though i was in the lawn, i don't remember any pedals. +1 to tube amp distortion.
