It's raining Broughtons!

(In the classifieds. Don't go running to the Broughton page, which I know is what I would do immediately upon seeing this post. Just trying to save you the trip. Unless you want a HPF or Joshwah.)

 

RFE and Silver Deluxe in the classifieds. He was selling them as a package only with a Fliptop but must have sold the Fliptop and now they are available individually.

 

Sooooooo glad I didn't trade my Studio One for a Fliptop last November. Thank you to everyone who talked me down off that ledge!

 

Why?

 

I A/B’d the Fliptop and P-15 last night and FT hangs well with the P-15. If I didn’t have the lunchbox I would be keeping the Fliptop.

I’ll try to do some clips tonight.

 

The Fliptop is there. Who knew there would be a midweek Fliptop release in the TB classifieds!

 

Yep it has appeared!

His other two pedals have already sold, I'm sure the Fliptop will be gone by the time I finish this sentence. He tried for a while to sell all three together with no takers. Individually they lasted about 10 minutes

I was tempted to buy all 3 to try and squeeze a deal for other Broughtons I actually want, but that seemed a bit overboard so I'll just wait for the right ones to come up for sale!

 

Never saw so many Broughtons in the Classifieds than in the last two weeks. What gives? I had a Terraformer once. Very boring pedal imo.

 

Its FlipTop FlipFlop madness! someone get them all and make a wall-o-B15s lol - jokes aside you could make some decent parallel with two, run one drive/middy and the other deep

 

Had great fun stacking Locusts similar to that but it had to go eventually.

Agreed the Terraformer is not glamourous on its own, but it's one of my favorites in the mix. Just seems to sit so right for what I do. YMMV of course.

 

This is how I was looking at it as well. i don't own a Fliptop (yet), but since all the gigs dried up due to COVID lockdowns, I haven't even plugged in an amp in like 6 months at least. ALL of my playing is DI with headphones, and I'd imagine the Fliptop Cab knob would probably work well for that. Naturally I wouldn't expect to use the same settings running it in front of an amp and speaker.

Egg lands best eggs. Bianco Italian sausage I made into a patty. Kerry gold butter fresh bagels and scallions Coarse salt and pepper.

 

Nice. And tequila.

 

pretty much compliments any food.

 

I love how "reliced" your tabletops are in your photos. That table has seen a lot of good meals.

 

I love it. Custom designed over the last 50 years By my older brothers, animals, food, video games (Atari console, Colico vision) Pedalboards. Etc. Very salted.
