Sales still seem to be slow in the classifieds. Posted a bunch of stuff this week. Only moved one so far. I suppose I could be priced high, but it didn’t look like I was based on recent reverb/TB sales.

Keyword alerts are a casualty of the new version of TalkBass. I suspect that has a great deal to do with slower sales. I used to have around 15 keyword alerts and would pop into the classifieds whenever I got received an email triggered by one of those alerts. Now I never look at the classifieds. I'm not about to scroll them every day in hopes something I want is there. Just not how I like to spend my time.

The market is poorly represented. Even searching remains ineffective in many cases. Cool things are ahead. They always are. I want tooobs. … Sadly they don’t have vacuum tube emojis as yet. In the meantime im kinda jazzed about this Calypso.

Is there a button I gotta push to get an alert when there are new posts here?

I've heard if you unwatch and then watch again it fixes this, but that has not been the case for me. If you get an alert and don't check it, you won't get another one.

What worked for me was going to your settings under your avatar, then to preferences. Under "Alerts" there's a box to tick that says "Never mark alerts as read"

I seem to be getting all of my notifications now, but they don't clear out unless you visit them from the notification or manually mark them as read.

Hey Marty, what did you think of the Octatron?

I love it, very versatile and tracks great. Of course anything lower than the A can get a lil glitchy if attacking too hard but I'm impressed. Still not sure if the Subsonic is gonna replace it on the board, so may just have to have 2 boards...

The "Upgrade" killed the classifieds & I suspect economic uncertainty may also be driving some to cut out discretionary spending.

Now it seems that only the vultures respond to listings even when priced aggressively.
