Thinning the herd... Must say I've been on the fence with this bass for a while since it has that compressed Bart/Bart jazz tone that none of my other basses can quite nail. Never fails to get compliments on the warm jazz to heavy mid tones (ranging from neck to bridge pickups with cut/boost adjustments.) {} {} {} 34 5/8 Scale 19mm spacing American made Bart jazz pickups with Bart NTMB electronics (bass, treble, mid push-pull) Ash Body/Koa Top Birdseye Maple board Hipshot tuners and bridge Ships in somewhat tattered Brubaker gig bag $1400 shipped and insured conUS...no trades...cannot do it. $1300 local pickup
do yo have any recordings? would love to hear a little back pickup funk on that bass if possible. thanks
Hey Doug, you might want to change the title. This isn't a Standard, it's a full completely hand-built Custom. The Standard had CNC'd body and neck and a different electronics package and didn't have the full Bolt-thru neck joint. This is worth more. GLWS
Thanks, Brad. You are correct! It does say "Custom" on the headstock. I was seriously considering pulling the thread anyway as I really do love the tone this bass gives...especially on full bridge and boosted mid settings. Nice to hear from you and trust you are doing well.
Dang Doug, Monique/Thunderfunk and now a B-Baker I wanna come down sometime and talk shop, and play .
Hi Paul! I just sold the Monique but still have the T-funk and the Brubaker. Might be pulling this thread because I like just like the tone. I am in and out of town alot right now...was in Scottsdale all week this week! Haha. Have a great Memorial day weekend!
Man I absolutely love the look of this bass. It's a bit too heavy for me and that's a shame because I would have snapped it up already for that price. Kevin's basses are some of the best playing and sounding out there. I had an old Lexa 6 that was totally amazing. Best of luck with the sale. It's a real beauty!!!
