    *****SOLD*****

I bought two of these on the Bay last week with the understanding that I would only keep one. Man, I wish I could keep em both!! These are some sweet instruments. I always wanted to get my hands on one, and I was NOT disappointed!! Kevin does some stellar work.

It came down to pickups... I already have two other jazz basses, so the soapbar model stayed.

So up for sale is a NBS Custom, serial # 2000-14.

Tobacco Burst Ash body, with stellar quilted maple top. Bartolini jazz pickups/active electronics with bass/treble/mid controls. Carved body/headstock, matching wood cavity cover. Deep inset bolt on neck. Birdseye fingerboard/maple neck. Chrome Hipshot ultralites and "A" bridge. Plays great, looks awesome. (Sounds great, too.)

This bass is in great condition. The only flaws I could find : A ding on the chrome stack knob. A scratch on the bolt that holds the cavity cover. Thats it.

Comes with a VERY nice Brubaker Hardshell case.

    *****SOLD*****
    No International buyers please.

    Pics to ensue...

OK, pointless post 'cause as much as I WANT (!!!) to try one, there's no way I could ever afford it, but that's the first time I got a good look at the headstock and for as much as I LOVE the shape, the 3D carving looks totally cool (and functional too!!!!)

Nice bass!, I used to own it. It had black knobs when I owned it, but the silver knobs look really nice.

    Wow....

I use to own that bass too! I don't even remember who I sold it to or bought it from.

But I do remember that it sounded amazing, and that Quilt top was outstanding in person.

Man, that thing's been in more TB'ers hands than the original Talkbass Wish. If only I could get it in my hands for a simple $10!!!!

Apparently this bass has a history. At least all the owners took great care of her...

I believe I got it on a trade from Yggdrasil, and later sold or traded it to Dragonbass. Great bass! We are all just a bunch of gas nuts!

I think I used to own that one too...actually, I think I was the first owner. I had a red 5 string that has made the rounds as well.
