Are these custom ordered instruments or
    are they sold retail ?

    Anybody ?
  2. They're both--some pre-built basses and some custom ordered.

His shop isn't too far from my house. I should probably give him a call and go for a visit sometime.

Very nicely made, great fretwork, nice finish, top quality woods, balanced well and the action could be set unbelieveably low, so low that for someone with a heavy attack like me, it could be impossible to play.

Mine was VERY powerful and HOT. In fact, it was too hot and powerful for me. It was equipped with SD Basslines and preamp which I love in a J/J configuration but the Soap Bars were too much for me. I had it for about a month and sold it.

I certainly wouldn't discourage anybody from buying one. It was a great instrument, just not for me.
  7. I've had four or five of them. All were great basses. For various reasons, I now have none. But definitely top quality and worth checking out.
