  1. Hello guys,

Do some of you know Bruce Foxton, bassist of The Jam (with their famous Rickenbacker)? I find the bass lines very good, very melodic and personnal. A lot of joy and fun to play ...
Ahhh, this is what made me play bass ...
"Beat Surrender", "In the crowd", "Tales from the riverbank" ... magic moments!
  2. Yes, I agree with me. The more I listen to The Jam, the more I love it. Too bad I'm at work, I would like to pick up my bass!!!
    I need to buy a Rick 4001 too ...

  4. I had downloaded few songs of Stiff Little Fingers but I don't really know many of them. I should listen to it again, you're right. Something to look for precisely?
Ah, I remember "In your hands" ...
  5. Foxton is great. "News Of The World" is one of my favorite bass is "Town Called Malice."

Odd that he ended up with SLF, but they're a good band and I'm glad he's doing well. Does he get to do any writing with them?
