If you are not hip to Mike Keneally's band, go out immediately and buy "Dancing" and "Sluggo!". Bryan Beller is a fantastic bassist and his own worst critic... probably one of the most humble people I know about his ability to play everything that is necessary to make a song without overplaying.

All you people playing a 5-string should listen to how he uses that extra low end. He never uses it "just because it's there", which in my opinion a lot of bassists do. Beller uses his extra low end very tastefully.

hey man, I'm not Beller... he's a jackass from New Jersey (what are you f*cking stupid?!?!?! deep inside joke... :) )

Beller is just a dude I know now that absolutely kicks ass and doesn't get nearly enough credit for it.

All hail the mighty 5-string wielding Beller! :D

I haven't heard him play yet, but his column in BassPlayer always cracks me up.

Bryan is awesome!! Great solid bass playing. Has some serious chops but doesnt feel the need to show them off. I also saw him perform with BFD and was floored by the whole band.
