Billy Sheehan, that is! Here's a link to a website containing an interview and several "instructional" videos you can watch. Each is several minutes long, and while it's not exactly like having a private lesson with Billy, I thought they were interesting. If you have a high speed connection, you can see them in excellent quality. I'm still trying to find his instructional videos to buy - I think they're out of print - but at least you can see his phenomenal technique and coordination on these videos. http://www.guitar.com/features/viewfeature.asp?featureID=254#LESSON The video links are down toward the bottom of the page.
If you want to permanently store those videos on your harddisk, download asfrecorder from here: http://www.lemuria.org/mirrors/asfrecorder/asfrecorder.zip and paste those urls into it: <quote> http://mfile.akamai.com/3114/wmv/www.guitar.com/asfroot/billysheehan/billysheehan_anatomy_hi.asx http://mfile.akamai.com/3114/wmv/www.guitar.com/asfroot/billysheehan/billysheehan_lessonpt1_hi.asx http://mfile.akamai.com/3114/wmv/www.guitar.com/asfroot/billysheehan/billysheehan_lessonpt2_hi.asx http://mfile.akamai.com/3114/wmv/www.guitar.com/asfroot/billysheehan/billysheehan_lessonpt3_hi.asx </quote>
