a friend of mine (who has just bought my warwick profet IV head) is looking to buy a 4x10 to go with it. He is currently looking at ampeg, i was just wondering what are your thoughts on the SVT-410HLF and the BSE-410HLF, which is better?

He plays in a 'soft' rock band, sort of like DMB and LIVE.

    Hi,

I've owned the Ampeg 410hlf and it rocks, it is very ballsy and deep sounding, so if you like that low rumble it would be great, I changed it with the 6x10hlf, because I feel it got more definitions in the mids...good luck! :)

I tried both, and own 2 of the SVT410HLF's. To my ears, the SVT's had much better lows than the BSE's did.
