    i didn't like the BTB.
infact i just put a american jazz on layaway today!!!
the BTB wasn't to my liking soundwise and playing wise.

Why wouldn't you be welcome around here?

The BTB is a pretty modern sounding bass, and the Fender is more traditional sounding. Both are decent quality, and are pretty versatile thanks to the dual pickup configuration.

I prefer the Jazz. I tried a few BTB's and just don't do it for me. As always though, this is personal taste issue. Depending on what you want, either may be best. What sort of stuff do you play? What sort of tone are you going for?

well i just bought the BTB today.........it's perfect for my way of playing,i think it fits me better.

the tone is little high pitched but it sounds the way i like.
it's a good choice for ROCK N' ROLL/HEAVY METAL bassists.........
