Anyone know where you can buy this stuff?
You can get it from here
Pretty pricy but very nice figure.
If you dont know this already it is very challenging to work with very soft and requires lots of filling stabalizing. It will test your patience to the limit.
Here is a link to 2 guitars I am working on from a buckeye slab from newton Cost me $230 for a piece big enough to get 2 tops out of.
Where is Newton Woods located, i.e., where do they ship from?
Found it . . . Fresno, CA
I've been looking for a place like this for a long time!
Yep...I'm pretty sure my buckeye came from there.
holy crap. i think i just peed a little
Wow that thing looks spectacular finished up.
Who makes the Tail piece bridge that you used?
Buckeye is such a pain but finished products like this make it worth it.
I think that one is a Jerzy Drozd right?
Beautiful one, nice!
That's definitely a Jerzy Drozd. They are gorgeous instruments.
Correct. It was delivered in Sept. 07'...It has been my main player ever since.
