According to his website, Bill Dickens's "secret weapon" is this thing called a Buddha rope. You're supposed to put it under the strings to raise the action greatly, and strenthen your hands/fingers. I have never seen it in a music store.

Has anyone ever used one of theese, or know where to get it?

I promise you this - Bill Dickens could play a million miles an hour and whatnot before he ever started using that.

    Just practice...you don't need no steenkeeng stupa-rope.

What's he charging for that piece of rope? I'll sell you a piece for half of that. I guarantee the same results.

Its like this...I asked this a while ago(use the search function) and the responses I got were that It WILL increase finger strength, but thats != increased speed.

What you need is dexterity and quick/light touch to get really fast.

also, as with any "practice aids" it is NOT A SHORTCUT, If you DO choose to use it, don't start practicing less, if anything practice more, cause in reality thats the only way you'll get speed, practice.
