Looks like Animal's got a long way to go. A long way to go. Buddy's working his ****ing ass off. Hey doesn't Animal have a beard? No wonder he's off Buddy's band. High school... Bull**** jive artist....

Yeah, but Animal's got that John Bonham thing happening that Buddy couldn't cop.

I think I'd rather hang with Animal, given a choice. :D

actually, the drummer behind animal is "Ronnie Verrell" who's quite accomplished.

besides, ANYONE going against buddy cuttin' heads is like going up against MJordan w/ lead weights tied to their ankles.

besides, i'm sure animal as well as cookie monster influenced as many little kids as buddy did w/ adults.

    Animal was more sociable, though.

Perhaps you didn't get the reference..... Google Buddy Rich Tapes. Not appropriate for this forum.

Cookie monster most definitely influenced a lot of death metal vocalists, that's for sure.

Actually, Bonham's primary influence was Buddy Rich. ;)

  12. Man, I always thought Buddy Rich was the coolest dude around when i was a kid. Anybody remember seeing him on Carson back when? he rocked.

That said, you gotta give the nod to Animal. C'mon, how well do you think Buddy would play with a hand the size of his head jammed up his arse?

That my friends is a handicap.

  13. I'd like to see Buddy Rich take on Steve Smith now.:D

Yeah. Buddy isn't all that impressive anymore.

Ever since he died it's like he quit even trying.

  17. Ahh, but Buddy Rich never bit Carol Burnett, never got chased by Kathy Griffin, and never grew to be 80 feet tall.

    Animal pwns!!!

    Rock on
