Budget Backup Battle - Cort GB35 vs SBMM Stingray 5

Title says it pretty well, I’m looking for a backup 5er and can get either of these around the same price. The Cort is the Jazz pickup model. My main 5 is a Lakland 55-01 and the neck is a tad chunky for my liking so I like the narrower string spacing these offer. Both would likely get modded over time but the stock hardware needs to be reliably gigable in the meantime. (FWIW I hate the look of the SBMM bridge)

I have a 4-string Jazz and a Stingray, love them both, so what I’m really wondering is which would you lean towards and why?
