I'm looking for a backup for my warwick stage 1 5, it must have a least 19mm spacing at the bridge, have 5 string and be under £800 retail.

It doesnt need to sound alot like the warwick, infact something different mite be a nice change.

    any ideas?

Throw a preamp in a kingston or an heir, and it will bitchslap anything in that price range.

Lakland 55-02 (55-01, but I would change the pre amp)
    DR heartfield
    Ibanez BTB
Fender Roscoe Beck (others, but that is one of the few Fenders I like)

On bass gear right now, someone is selling a Pulcinella lightwave for 550 plus s&h. If you can afford to have a pickup put in and blended with the lightwave, that thing would be out of control!
