Building a Jazz Collection

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by Rodan, May 26, 2003.

  1. Just thought I would pass this link on to people who are interested in finding out more about jazz and building a music collection - it's a page from the BBC called "Building a Jazz Library", which includes over a dozen selections from each decade, with notes and sound clips on the artists. I think this page might be useful for people who want to start listening to jazz, or find out about more artists that are not as well known as, say, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, etc.

    Here's the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio3/jazz/jazzlibrary/jazzlibrary_new.shtml

While not comprehensive, I hope it can be of some help to TBers.
