the bush bassist , i think his name is dave parsons, is awesome. just listen to comedown or alien. bush is the best band in the world. they dont play to be huge they just play the music for their fans. And the bassist comes up with some sweet riffs and the songs are the funnest ever to play with someone or jsut with a cd or somethin. peace out
I've always found bush's basslines to be a bit lacking. I mean, a little fill here and there would be nice.... Just my opinion, doesn't mean it's right(actually, usually is wrong)
I like their basslines too but they are far from being the best. I think comedown is the most reconizable, but its still cool.
I personally find the band Bush to be mindless drival. Their particular form of music does exactly nothing for me. This is of course MY opinion, which is a retort to YOUR original opinion.
Ehhh hes good for the type of music bush plays. Back in the day Comedown was one of the lines i wanted to learn, but those days have defently passed.
I liked the bassline to comedown much better when I heard it the 1st time back in oh I think it was 1986 played by Alec John Such, when It was called You Give Love A Bad Name, (Slippery When Wet CD, look into it if ya think im bs'n ya)
yeah, I spotted that rip off by Bush too- session bassist Hugh McDonald played the original with Bon Jovi, though (Alec John Such didn't actually play on any Bon Jovi studio records) oh yeah, Dave Parsons was previously in another UK band called Transvision Vamp- female-fronted glam-rock. no bass playing of note on that either....
yeah, i was informed last night that it wasnt actually alec who played the line, I never knew that up untill yesterday either. But none the less I still liked the line better when it was done by Hugh. When it was oh whats a good word to use here?.....original
no the post was about bush's bass player, George W. must be the singer or something. I liked that come down song better the 1st time I heard it when it was called Lithieum (sp?) or whatever by Nirvana. and remember that little things song, yeah I liked it better when it was called smells like teen spirit.
I like to think Chump Stain is joking, but I don't think he is....he was making a joke, you know George W. Bush!?! Nevermind!!!
It's fine that you disagree with the above posts, but this is hardly the way to argue your point effectively. If you want them to take you seriously, insulting them is no way to do it. It's just not nice.
you have the bass for lithium? that must be worth some money or something. is it the one he played in the video or the album? man, you need to throw a few periods and commas in there. that has to be the biggest run-on sentence I've ever seen.
