I need advice in buying a new bass. I have got 2 in mind. One JB -72, Sunburst, mapleneck, black inlays, 4-bolt, light weight. The other one is nature, rosewood, don´t know the weigt of this one...
I know that I have to try them out to know for sure but i need some advice which would be the best buy? The cost both around $1800. Thanx!

Try both of them out. If they sound/feel comparable, I would go with the four bolt neck over three bolt. If you cannot try them out-my opinion would still be to go with the four bolt, regardless.

  3. Yes! Try them both out but my choice is the '72.

    Yes, definitely try both.

But my personal choice would be the '72. The sunburst 72 still has an alder body, where the natural 74 witll be heavier ash.
