Thinking of buying a used Carvin AC-50. Have had a Bunny Brunell bass for a long time and love it however it had low grade eletronics (mostly the preamp). Was wondering if anyone used one of these or had perhaps replaced the eletronics? Thanks

I had an AC 50F (same thing, fretless). Absolutely LOVED the sound of it. When ordering mine, i had it done in all walnut (body and neck)...both my guitar rep and the order status guy commented about how much growl it would have...and man were they right. the low b was simply....insane...

Id say the only issue i had with it was maybe a little bit of neck dive, but i did have a walnut neck, so i was expecting it... : \

  3. how much do they run for? I want one in a 6 string version :D hehehe but Carvin don't do that :p!
    Thanks
