Hello Everyone, im buying a new bass, with a budget of $700 or less. I just want to know what would be the best bang for my buck? I want a real good slapper and a bass thats good for fingertaps also. The brand doesnt really matter, as long as its a Jazz Bass. Please give me any idea's or suggestions you might have. Thanks :) .

  2. A Fender Geddy Lee sounds like a good choice for you.

Geddy is a great choice if you like the thinner neck....not everyone does. Fender Precision, Deluxe and Jazz are good basses ( US or Japanese made). Check out the online music stores for an idea of the models available within your price range or for a few more bucks.

A KSD v70's would also be a good choice, awesome slap tone!
