I have a neck from a fender jp-90 bass and was thinking about ordering a thunderbird body from warmoth to make a fenderbird, I know that warmoth basses all base their necks and body joints on fender measurements, but have read about people having trouble putting a non-warmoth neck on a warmoth body, any one have any experience?

Out of all the frankenbasses I ever made and changed around over the years....using Warmoth bodies and Fender necks...I never had a problem with them fitting. No gaps....not too tight...they always worked. The screw holes lined up just fine too.My experience may be a rare exception, take it for what it's worth, but I never had any problems........:meh::) Peace, John
