I bought a pedal on Reverb. I learned a few things.

    - use a credit card and not PayPal. Then reverb can refund you immediately if something goes wrong. With PayPal, the seller has to tap the refund button on reverb to get a refund. If you have an unresponsive seller, now you will have to deal with PayPal.
    - if you have an unresponsive seller, open a chat with Reverb. They call the seller on the phone.
    - check recent, past purchase prices not just the range in items currently for sale. Then make an offer based on that. It could work. Otherwise you could buy an item and reverb comes back after and shows you that you probably overpaid.

    Any others?
