buzz/interference in my amp

    hey guys,

    lately, my 25-watt combo amp has been making a strange, loud buzzing sound at times. the only way to make it stop making this sound is to fiddle around with the instrument cord at the amp input until it stops. So, i was wondering if this would indicate that there is something wrong with the cord (which i frequently step on, amongst other maltreatments) or the amp (which until recently had been working just fine).     id say its the input on the amp, try a different cable just to check if its that instead

    +1, cable first, input jack second. If not one of those 2, you have a problem. Hope you get it running.
