I gots all the questions today!

I've just added a 210 to my setup. when i take my hands from my bass i'm getting a loud buzzing noise, I take it this is something to do with earth? I do play with a lot of treble, would that have an affect?

    thanks,
    phil.

You mean like a hum? Probably noisy electronics somewhere or bad cords, bad input jacks, etc... Most likely noisy electronics. A tweeter will only amplify it.

This might be normal if your bass has singlecoils.
    Treble attenuates noise/hiss of course.

Since you say it's only noisy when you lift off your hands, you're bass is ok.

I just got a 2x10 myself and have the same problem. My pickups are humbucking though. I quess I need to sheild better and better bass grounding? I'm trying to find decent wiring diagrams for grounding. Any Ideas were to find that? Also, I've heard that if the outlet is not grounded you's get hiss. Any Ideas?
