You know, I really don't know what you are doing on my board. You're a nice pedal for when I need that kind of fuzz that sounds really good to people who have partaken in the fumes of burning leaves, but, other than that, you serve no purpose. On the other hand, I haven't really tried to find a different purpose for you. I mean, did you know you can turn the gain knobs down on these things? Either way, I'll probably end up keeping you. You're green, and you have that switch that makes bass boost or dry signal. Unless i decide to build a GGG-thing, and we all know what dark path that will lead down.
i like combining mine with an overdrive before it on 'dry' mode to get better overdrive sounds. or doing the same thing with a wah between the od/muff. that way you still get the full sweep of a wah, but its not completely earsplitting like having the wah after the muff. its just one of those pedals you need to experiment with to love

well, now that you've grieved, you can forget about it. I can empathize though. It's a fuzz flavor that really only works for a certain type of rocker guy, one that really wants a vintagy, two-dimentional sound. A super step up from the MXR grande-whatever, but really only barely worthy of the "muff" title. IMnotreallythatHO.
IMO, she's a keeper, 'screech. might not be the ultimate freak fuzz but it's really pretty hard to beat for most applications, and plays VERY nice in combo with other effects - like, say, phaser
i've been thinking of getting one and actually gonna either get this or the swollen pickle tofay so we'll see!
