I'm looking to get a few c.d.s but I don't know which to get. So can anyone recommend any c.d.s by:
Pearl Jam (maybe even a box set?)
Marcus Miller (I've heard M squared is good)
Frank Zappa (again, maybe a box set?)

My friend likes Frank Zappa and he has a cd called Hot Rats that he said he likes.
I like Ten by Pearl Jam.
I heard M squared was good too.

You could always check the "Recordings" forum. I think they talk about CDs there sometimes...

    A few good ones:

    "Oranges and Lemons" - XTC
"Before and After Science" - Brian Eno
"Trout Mask Replica" -Capt. Beefheart and the Magic Band
  4. Flecktones - Greatest Hits of the 20th Century.

  8. 100 % non bass related, but goddamn cool stuff :)

    - Delete yourself
    - 60 second wipeout
    - the future of war

by 'Atari Teenage Riot' ( check it.. this guy actually had to start his own record label to be able to release this kind of uhm.. " music " :D )

if you want to.. i can put some mp3's online..but listening to them is at your own risk.. if you suffer from internal bleedings or ear-damage afterwards, it's not my fault comprendez ? :)

warning : explicit lyrics, explicit music, explicit video-material, yaddi yaddi...

FZ - "The Roxey and Elsewhere" Great version of penguin in bondage on that one.

Melvin, the live phish cds do indeed rock. Have you got 12-14-95? The Curtain, Makisupa, Timber, Bold as Love, Slave, Llama, what an awsome setlist. I was there to boot (to boot).:D
  11. ok.. for those that dare to listen to it :)

here's a sample from Atari Teenage Riot :)
it's part from one of the less explicit uhm " songs " called " the future of war " :D

this stuff is PERFECT to use as a violent weapon against annoying parents / neighbours :D

i heard a fella named jack johnson... he's stellar. great make out music IMHO...
  16. Actually right now I have the Violent Femmes cd in. Awesome bass in this cd by a guy named Brian Ritche, he's one of the very few bassists that use a pick that I respect.
