C# Standard String Gauge?

    Hello chaps. Do any of you play in C# standard? Trying to learn all of King Ov Hell’s bass parts on Abbath’s self-titled album, which I believe is in C# standard. I play a 4 string but it’s a 35 scale. Also it should be noted that a beefy tone and solid intonation are more important to me than speed and bending, so I think a thicker gauge would serve me well. Any suggestions on a particular gauge, though?

    I don't even use a gauge, I just look at the numbers on the packet & divide by 1,000:
    0.050" = 0.115"
