I have a Mesa 400+ coming soon. I would like some input on an ideal cab/cabs match.

Of corurse I want it all, punch, clarity, cut, definition, some grind would be nice.

    Thanks, Bob

Of course there are many options-
I think that the supreme sound with the 400+
would come from the sadly discontinued MESA
Diesel cabs, specifically the "Road-Ready" versions.
With some effort, you can find them, hopefully in your 'hood, because shipping costs (oi vey!)...

The new Mesa cabs, Road-Ready or not, are nice too, they use PAS drivers I believe. I like 'em a lot.
But IMO the EVM-loaded Diesels were the kind,
& the acoustic properties from the RR enclosures,
    are, ah, "awsum dude".
I use a Buster (kinda like half the 400+) with standard EVM diesels; I am a happy man! Would not mind RR's at all, & since I'm about to tour, REALLY wish I had 'em- I'm lookin' at $450 for a road case- anyway, that's my word- have fun &
    congrats on the 400!
